I'm currently researching how British occultists, Spiritualists, and psychical researchers expressed grief and interpreted death in the interwar period.
More generally, I'm interested in occultism as a modern form of religious expression, the phenomenology of psychic experience, Spiritualism in the twentieth century, and the cultural history of death and bereavement.
